Brand marketing… how does it work again?

Some think it’s simply a matter of putting a brand’s logo out there and, when a consumer is interested, he or she will instinctively think of it!

We, at Spirit Balloons, know this is not the case and have shown, and continue to show, our clients time and time again that successful marketing is marketing in the extreme and that hot air balloons are the ultimate media tool for achieving this. Think about it, who doesn’t show an interest when they see a hot air balloon? In this way, balloons exceed being standard advertising and become events themselves. By providing entertainment and interaction, greater impact and retention is impressed on the consumer than with a traditional advert.

It offers a sizable message with high visual impact with a retention factor greater than any other advertising medium. From mass media, through aerial stunts to targeted marketing campaigns i.e. educational schools tour, a hot air balloon is one of the most effective promotional tools any organization can use to enhance its overall image.

Consider a flight over a major city at rush hour, this one flight alone can lead to many 100,000’s of impressions, especially if the balloon is a Special shape, replicating the companies brand or product. How about if it attended a major public event? The Bristol Balloon fiesta in 2010 attracted over 1 million visitors and global press coverage over the 4 day event, with Balloons taking centre stage throughout.
